Located in the heart of the campground is our charming sidewalk cafe called Pistol Pete's. Serving up hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners in the summer months is our specialty.
Just imagine waking up to a beautiful morning with the aroma of buttermilk pancakes, bacon & scrambled eggs and fresh brewed coffee in the morning breeze. What a great way to start your day. If a full meal isn't your style, don't worry we have a variety of muffins and Danish pastries to start your morning.
Dinnertime is the best at Pistol Pete's. If you're like most folks who have spent most of the day driving and sightseeing, you're not exactly looking forward to pulling into camp and having to deal with all the hassle of mealtime. No worry, take your time setting up camp and getting acquainted with your surroundings while we take the stress off your dinner plans. When you're ready, take a leisurely stroll over to Pistol Pete's where we have a wonderful setup for a carefree meal.
Each evening we serve the likes of rib-eye and sirloin steaks cooked to order just the way you like. Got a taste for fish? Then our rainbow trout or pacific salmon cooked on the grill will surely be a delight for you. Our most popular meal choice is the hearty ½ lb cheeseburger. And for those wanting to try something with a true western flair, our buffalo burger certainly gets rave reviews each night. If BBQ cooking is your style, then you will certainly want to try our BBQ chicken breast or BBQ brisket sandwich. Of course, we couldn't do BBQ without offering a mouth watering BBQ rib for your dining pleasure. All meals come with Bush's Brown Sugar Baked Beans, potato salad, corn-on-the-cob and Texas Toast.
Oh and don't forget when you are done with dinner, we have our evening ice cream socials featuring locally made Wilcoxson's ice cream. With flavors like Chocolate Runs Thru It, Huckleberry, Moose-Tracks and others, we're sure you'll find something for that sweet tooth.
